About the author
The classic folding kayaks „Hammer Seewolf“ and "Klepper Aerius II" to a scale of 1:8.25 (length of the model: 63 cm).
The model consists of CNC-manufactured wooden parts which are finished by an experienced model maker. The model is completely assembled when delivered - nevertheless you have to refrain from the metalic joints (and therefore the possibility to disassemble the model) as well as the cover.
At a price of only 69,00 € ("Hammer Seewolf") resp. 99,00 €/119,00 € (Klepper Aerius II - price without/with varnishing) for the model incl. two model paddles (as of January 2008), you should easily come over that limitations!
The model can be extended by a gaffsail and a rudder as well as a rack with identification plate on request. The following picture shows the model in proportion to the backrest of the original, full-scale boat:
